Snowmobile Apparels
So what are snowmobile apparels? Before you go snowmobiling, make sure you are well prepared. First and foremost things that you need to remember, you need to stay warm and be comfy. You don't want to wear 10 layers of shirts and 3 layers of socks to keep you warm.
Here are some tips what to wear for snowmobiling, or any kind of snow sports.
- Wear in layers - make sure the layer closest to your skin is made of materials that wicks your sweat easily. This is to make sure you stay dry.
- Snowpants - these will protect you from cold and wet in case you fell down or decided to sit down. Do NOT wear cotton or jeans. They will be wet.
- Jacket - make sure it is water proof and well insulated. Look for one that is specifically designed for snowsports.
- Gloves - most snowmobiles have warmers on the grip, but wear gloves anyways because it's cold!
- Boots - these can be snowmobile boots or snowboard boots. Make sure they are made for snow sports and comfortable on your feet.
- Backpack - it's good to have to store snacks, water, extra sunscreen.
- Helmet - few types of helmet, one of them is modular snowmobile helmet. Bring your own helmet even if you are renting the snowmobile because it will fit you better (and more hygienic)
